What is The Rolling Library?

Previously known as Astoria Book Fair, The Rolling Library is an ongoing effort that provides free books to the New York City community and surrounding areas. Our books are sourced from donations; our books are always available for free. We believe that books, education, and literacy should be accessible for all. We believe in mutual aid over charity. We believe that money is fake. We believe in our community.

We work alongside Astoria Mutual Aid Network and The People’s Bodega NYC.
